About Aloha Service Network

Aloha Service Network (ASN) is a platform that allows users to create and join public or private groups and use these groups to facilitate and coordinate community function and awareness.

How it works

Each group includes a dropdown, tool-belt-style menu with different community tools designed to support communication, coordination, and collaboration.

Users can freely use these tools to communicate and collaborate with other members of their groups and customize notifications based on their preferences.

Profile connectors help ASN match posts with people who may be able to respond. Members can add Skills, Resources, Knowledge, and Interests to their profile and choose which matching notifications they want to receive. When someone posts in one of their groups and tags related connectors, ASN compares those tags with member profiles. If there is a match, the member can receive a Matching Post notification. The post creator does not see who matched; each member decides whether to respond.

This creates an efficient way to connect needs and ideas with people who are able and willing to help, enabling faster action and implementation within groups.
